David Evans, Carbon Accounting Modeler, Says It’s a Scam
Dr David Evans’ address to the Anti-Carbon-Tax rally, Perth Australia, 23 March 2011
Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen.
The debate about global warming has reached ridiculous proportions and is full of micro thin half-truths and misunderstandings. I am a scientist who was on the carbon gravy train, understands the evidence, was once an alarmist, but am now a skeptic. Watching this issue unfold has been amusing but, lately, worrying. This issue is tearing society apart, making fools and liars out of our politicians.

William Allen writes letter to Justices that declared CO2 a pollutant.
Included in the letter is the NASA temperature graphs showing no warming, to the 5 liberal justices that voted to designate CO2 a pollutant.

The decision in Mass. v. EPA would indicate that a majority are scientific agnostics. With a minimal understanding of the scientific principle members would understand that if increasing CO2 caused a significant increase in temperature, then one would never observe temperature decreasing while CO2 was increasing as is shown in the graph below!
The graph above is derived from observed temperature data from the University of Alabama Huntsville in blue and the Climate Research Unit (CRU) in England that was recently envolved in what is described as "Climate Gate". Since the hard data shows cooling temperature over almost a 9 year time span, while CO2, in green, continues to rise, it is clear that CO2 does not, in any significant way cause temperature to rise. Moreover, since CO2 is required for life to exist on this planet, it cannot be a pollutant. Plant life is now more robust than at any time in modern history, due to the higher level of CO2 that exists today!
"The harms associated with climate change are serious and well recognized. Indeed, the NRC Report itself—which EPA regards as an “objective and independent assessment of the relevant science,” 68 Fed. Reg. 52930—identifies a number of environmental changes that have already inflicted significant harms, including “the global retreat of mountain glaciers, reduction in snow-cover extent, the earlier spring melting of rivers and lakes, [and] the accelerated rate of rise of sea levels during the 20th century relative to the past few thousand years … .” NRC Report 16."
